There are a few moments from the past five months that do deserve a mention and a photo, so I'll start with those:
We had a visit with his cousin Hazel in late August. I think they look a lot a like with their blonde hair and blue eyes.
Per started to mimic us quite a bit in September. One day I was tired when he was eating lunch, so I laid my head down on the table. He mirrored me. That night, I had Zak try it with him and this is the result:
Per loves to climb into the drawer under the oven. There are a few battered pots and pans and a spoon that are kept in there for him to play with. He likes to pull out a pan and the spoon and "cook" things for me. He also really loves to watch me cook and demands to be picked up so that he can see what is going on above him on the counter.
For Halloween, Per was the tiger from Ten Apples Up On Top. Surprisingly, he loved wearing his costume.
Per has always loved to be read to. In October, he started to climb into the chair in his room by himself and read. He also loves reading with Daddy.
Regrettably, this is something new Daddy has taught him:
Per thinks it is hilarious. Mommy is not amused. Especially not when Per does this in the checkout line at the grocery store.
This is something I like to think that I taught him by example. Per loves to sweep and vacuum.
Some recent snuggle-time with Mommy and Daddy:
And that pretty much catches us up for now!

Glad you are back. I missed you in your long absence.
Cute!!! Ethan blesses Per in our dinner prayers frequently. I'm not sure why but he blesses the food, mommy, daddy, and Per. And OF COURSE zakk taught him to stick his finger up his nose.
You are better than me!! I still haven't caught up. Per is getting so grown up. Jesse and I enjoyed seeing him! He is cute enough to eat!!!!
you taught per to ride the vacume by example? ha. i kid. wes has started piking her nose too. like constantly. i'm glad to see she's not the only one. it's nice to have someone so close to her age, so i can always compare to make sure she's normal.
